Retweet feature officially comes to Twitter

It is well known that Twitter Search is a real time search.

Though the search results are recent, Am I seeing the most popular/useful tweet first?

The only way to rate/rank a tweet is to count the number of retweets.

Even though this retweet feature was available with many twitter clients, twitter.com didn’t have this feature until last month. Today I saw a banner saying, retweet (a beta) feature is available for some percent of the twitter users.
(In the last few weeks twitter has announced other more features like lists, twitter in more languages)



 We can retweet the tweets of only users who also has retweet feature enabled. All others will be sesing these tweets as RT Original user who tweeted first.


The Retweet link is now in the bottom right of the tweet.
