Feeding twitter with feeds from Twitter

23 Jan 2010

Below are some old news about twitter.

1. Twitter Search results for any keyword(s) can be subscribed in the form of RSS feed.
2. Anyone's tweets can be subscribed in the form of RSS feeds, i.e, tweets are published in the form of RSS.
3. Any RSS feed can be automatically tweeted through Twitterfeed.com

Retweet: A retweet is a tweet, when someone reads a tweet, likes and spreads it, or replies to it.

Unintentional retweets:
Consider if someone takes a feed from twitter - say twitter search result for Google, and feeds it to Twitterfeed for automatically tweeting. All the tweets containing the word Google will be automatically retweeted.
This is not just my imagination, I have really seen some of tweets being retweeted immediately. I was wondering how this could happen, and found out that the twitter accounts @Fotosketch and @tweetsgadgets are just retweeting all the tweets containing a word "Gadget" through twitterfeed.

Will twitter take any action against this kind of accounts which feed the tweets back to twitter?
